Trump and Hippopotami

Amusing piece by Dana Milbank in The Washington Post, “Trump wags the hippopotamus.” In it, Milbank says Trump has gone way beyond the fiction president in the movie Wag The Dog, who starts a fake war to distract the population from a scandal. Trump has actually done that, but now has gone beyond that to actually killing people.

The scary thing? He may get away with it.

Please check out my new book, Padre: To The Island, a meditation on mortality, grief, and joy, based on the lives and deaths of two of the most amazing and unconventional people I ever met, my mother and father.
